To meet our customers' expectation of lower manufacturing cost and better product quality, our Industry 4.0 scope includes Supply Chain Management (SCM) integration and Smart Manufacturing. The SCM integration starts from vendor end through customer to quickly respond to customer orders and market. The Smart Manufacturing will change the concept of conventional production approaches with data automation to enhance productivity, flexibility, efficiency, quality, and cost efficiency.

In the 1st stage of Smart Manufacturing, USI is going to link production machines, upgrade and integrate with existing Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and implement Big Data Analysis tools (Data Automation Modules) such as Automatic Data Collection, Recipe Management System, Real-Time-Information, In-line-SPC, Predict Maintenance, Fault Detection & Classification, to achieve higher productivity and excellent quality.

In the 2nd stage, we will integrate product design chain and order fulfillment through vendor, USI, and our customers to quickly respond to order fulfillment needs as well as in NPI process.
